# Transfer your Norton licence to a new computer

1. Sign in to your Norton  [account](https://my.norton.com/extspa/devices/).

2. On the **Device Security** page, identify the device that you no longer want to protect.

3. If you do not see the device, click **View History** link at the bottom of the device list to see your older inactive devices. If you still do not see the device, the device may be associated with a different account.

4. Click the **More options** icon available below the device and in the menu that appears, click **Manage License**.

5. In the **Manage Licenses** page, select **Remove License** and then click **Yes** to confirm.

Once you remove a license from a device, the device is no longer protected and is removed from the **Device Security** page.

6. To install the protection on a new computer, click **Install Now**.

7. Do one of the following:
   - To install Norton licence on the device that you are currently on, click **Agree & Download.**

- To install Norton licence on another device using a download link, click **Send a Download Link** and follow the on-screen instructions

- You can also sign in to your Norton  [account](https://my.norton.com/extspa/devices/) from the new device and click **Download**.
